“Extremely nice place; very large suite at reasonable price. Beds were comfortable, room was quiet. Sufficient breakfast options. Coffee could be a bit better, but minor minor issue. Tip ~ Nexus Brewing is across the parking lot, great beer and delicious southern food.”
~ Via TripAdvisor ~“This was just a great trip all the way around. The weather in Albuquerque dipped down to the 50's so we spent a lot of time in the pool area, as did several others... Heated pool and Jacuzzi! Several of us took the Roadrunner train to Santa Fe and we highly recommend that to everyone.”
~ Via TripAdvisor ~“My family comes to to Albuquerque every so often to visit relatives and we usually stay downtown, but they had a rodeo going on and all the motels were full. My sister recommended this Hotel and we were very pleased with the new plush beds & bedding and everyone was so sweet to us. No more downtown motels for us. See you all next month.”
~ Via TripAdvisor ~“I highly recommend! It's convenient to 40 and 25...big, gorgeous rooms with everything including 2 flat tvs, living room, and rotating shower head...full breakfast made to order! We are traveling across country from Baltimore and have stayed in numerous hotels; this one is the most impressive!”
~ Via TripAdvisor ~“Just a quick hello and let you know how much we appreciate all the extra special things you folks did for us during the funeral we attended last week. You really helped us in so many ways by helping us get to where we needed to go and recommendations for where to eat, find banks and so on. Great Service!”
~ Via TripAdvisor ~“Thank You so much to the wonderful guys and gals for making our visit to Albuquerque most enjoyable. We really loved the free breakfast and the rooms were super clean and large. The weather was great and the city was beautiful.”
~ Via TripAdvisor ~“The Best Western chain is, in our experience, the most reliable and this one was no exception. The rooms are great, large suites with very comfortable bed and a separate room (with an extra tv which is very welcome if you have a husband who likes to watch golf late at night!) The room was clean and pleasantly decorated, bathroom regular size w nice shower. We did not make it into the pool or hot tub but both looked very inviting, the pool is large enough to accommodate kids and adults. Breakfast was good, the room is a little small and the young woman who seemed to be in charge of everything (cooking, cleaning up, refilling etc.) could use some help. None-the-less, it certainly is a pleasant change from typical hotel breakfast offerings. Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. All in all a really nice experience, we wished we could have stayed for another night!”
~ Via TripAdvisor ~“Hey Ya'll... This Hotel is right off of I-25 and the price is just right. We really liked the fresh waffles and fresh eggs. Breakfast area was a little small but everyone seemed to get along just fine.”
~ Via TripAdvisor ~“This was an excellent Best Western. I was so impressed. It was so clean and well run. They far exceeded my expectations. Staff was very friendly. Bed was comfortable and rooms were spacious. Location was convenient to travelers.”
~ Via TripAdvisor ~“My family was here for the State Basketball tournament and this hotel was just great. The breakfast was great and even though the seating area was a little cramped we made do. A couple people complained, but it was free right. :) The pool area was also a great place for our kids to unwind....We were totally satisfied!”
~ Via TripAdvisor ~“what a nice place to stay when we come to Albuquerque. We came to see our grandson play in the State basketball tournament and several of our family stayed here. The indoor pool was Incredible and filled with kids. We all had a great time.”
~ Via TripAdvisor ~“on the way to spring training in Scottsdale close to hi-way big clean rooms i booked two rooms they were very large suites with small microwave and refrigerator comfortable king beds coffee in room and in great breakfast room thanks”
~ Via TripAdvisor ~“My company switched me to this hotel and every time I come there is something new that has been done. About 6 months ago it was new carpet, last month I saw them unloading an entire truck of new mattresses. My big thing though is the Dry Sauna and Jacuzzi Tub... Very relaxing after a long day ... Myself and my crew will stay here for a long time to come...”
~ Via TripAdvisor ~“We were stranded in Albuquerque due to the storm and I-40 being closed from the snow. We typically stay at the Holiday Inn Express due to their consistency but saw this Hotel from I-25. There were several other families that apparently couldn't get down I-40 east either and we basically had a fun Pool Party. What a great little unexpected break in our trip!”
~ Via TripAdvisor ~“I had my family from Gallup and other areas meet up in Albuquerque and we picked this Hotel because of the great heated pool. All the kids loved it and the Manager showed us the Sauna which we didn't realize was even there. What a great weekend and a great place for the kids.”
~ Via TripAdvisor ~“We stay exclusively at Best Western's all over the country. And I must say this has to be one of their most unique hotels in their chain. Very Southwestern style architecture and appointments. The staff was very friendly and gave us some great recommendations for what to see and where to eat. Definitely passing this on to my network of friends.”
~ Via TripAdvisor ~“I had a dental appointment and not looking forward to this trip. This was a pleasant surprise for this town. Of the 3 others I have used only this one will see a return visit. Very comfortable and nice staff.”
~ Via TripAdvisor ~“What a wonderful Hotel this turned out to be. The place just always seemed to be buzzing with someone cleaning the Pool or Spa. Dusting the lobby and cleaning the Glass and so on. Nothing neglected here. Nice Large rooms and we loved having the second TV for the kids.”
~ Via TripAdvisor ~“Much thanks go out to the front desk people and housekeeping crew of this Hotel. From the moment we checked til the time we left, these wonderful kids took great care of us and made us feel right at home. The Jacuzzi Spa and Pool were crystal clear and surprisingly the jets worked very well. Not like most places. We will definitely tell our friends.”
~ Via TripAdvisor ~“Enroute across country the Best Western in Albuquerque was an excellent choice. The location was easy on and off for the U-Haul that we had to pull. The breakfast had great choices but there was a hockey team staying the night and the service was slow. But no complaints in general”
~ Via TripAdvisor ~“I have nothing but good things to say about my recent visit to Albuquerque and the Best Western Hotel. Check in was smooth and girl was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent and the Pool facility was very large and clean.”
~ Via TripAdvisor ~“Three girlfriends and I came to the City on Business for 5 days and picked this Best Western because of all the positive reviews on this Tripadvisor site. The Manager Roger usually stopped and talked to us at least once a day. We told him the first day that we liked to swim early and use the Sauna and Hot Tub in the morning and the evening. Trying to take care of this old body. Roger made sure that that Sauna was always up to temperature and that his staff stopped by several times a day to replenish towels and check on us. in this day and age when every one is cutting corners it was very refreshing to see this young man and his staff still believing that service wins the hearts of guests and brings them back. We certainly will return !”
~ Via TripAdvisor ~“We just wanted to write in and say how nice everyone was. Roger, the manager was outside this morning brushing snow off of people windshields after the surprise snowstorm yesterday. And he was smiling and laughing. We really loved the fireplace in the breakfast room and all the little personal touches this hotel offers. You can tell it's a family run hotel by the way it's run.”
~ Via TripAdvisor ~“Love the large room, the location, the breakfast, and the service. They actually cook the eggs for you in their free breakfast room. Would definitely stay here again. Check in and out was so friendly and quick.”
~ Via TripAdvisor ~“We just wanted to tell your wonderful people how much we enjoyed your lovely motel. We couldn't believe that the girl actually cooked us fresh eggs with little green chili's in them.. Real Eggs! What a great touch. The indoor pool was nice and warm and was just what we needed to unwind after a long day of driving. We will definitely be back.”
~ Via TripAdvisor ~“I had to make an unexpected trip to Albuquerque and called the Best Western. Maritza was very polite and booked me into a room close to the pool. When I arrived one of the Maintenance guys even helped me getting my bag out of the trunk. The evening girl printed directions for where I needed to go and was able to relax in the Jacuzzi before the busy day I had planned. Just thought I would write as it doesn't get much better than this.”
~ Via TripAdvisor ~“My wife and I have been coming to this hotel for several years. This time we were happy to see that they had done a remodel since our last visit. Fresh New carpet in the rooms. It appears all new beds and bedding. And the outside has been completely repainted with bright cheery colors. And yes the breakfast was excellent again. Kudos to the staff!!”
~ Via TripAdvisor ~“i was passing thru Albuquerque on business and happened to stay at the Best Western. Geez, the room was real big with a separate bedroom and a big flat screen TV. The next morning they served fresh eggs with green chili's and waffles. It had snowed the night before and the guys were out bright and early shoveling sidewalks and putting down kitty litter to keep the sidewalks from being slick. they even helped me wipe my windshield because I had no gloves. Super impressed!”
~ Via TripAdvisor ~“We stayed in our way to Taos. I always look for a Comfort Suites, but this time I chose BW instead because of tripadvisor reviews. Large rooms. I needed two queens and a pull over sofa. It is great to have it in a separate area with a door. Good indoor pool, and decent complimentary breakfast buffet. Renovated rooms and lobby from maybe 10 years ago. I would stay here on my way back.”
~ Via TripAdvisor ~“We were just here for 1 night but left with a real nice impression. The front desk girl was super nice and recommended several great places to eat and things to do. The Hotel appears to have just gone thru a renovation and the outside is bright and colorful. New Mexico Style!”
~ Via TripAdvisor ~“Seems like recently remodeled. Stayed in April, again in November and then again in December. What a difference! In April, I would not have given them a good rating. In November and December, highest rating. Great hotel. Great job to management!”
~ Via TripAdvisor ~“It was a nice overnight stay for my wife and I to get away. The front staff was very helpful and the beds were comfortable. The room was quite and we enjoyed the setting. It had an additional room with a microwave and fridge.”
~ Via TripAdvisor ~“What a great surprise this place was. My family was traveling for Christmas and needed a break so we decided to stopover in Albuquerque. My kids loved the large blue Pool and my Husband and I had a very relaxing time in the Jacuzzi Spa and the dry Sauna. Then to top it off we got fresh eggs and sausage for breakfast cooked just for us by a very sweet girl.. Who does that nowadays? This Hotel was right next to I-25 so we were able to just zip right back on the freeway and continue our trip nice and refreshed!! Great Job and thanks for a nice stay!”
~ Via TripAdvisor ~“This Hotel was just what we needed. We typically stay at Hyatt or Embassy Suites, but a friend recommended we stay there because of it's location and great local reputation. This Hotel appears to have just gone thru a full remodel inside and out. New carpet, flat TV's and a very unique SW style decor. The entire outside of the Hotel also appears to have been recently painted in bright colors. Happy Staff and great service”
~ Via TripAdvisor ~“I have visited this hotel 2 times within a month. Both times on line. When we arrived checkin was fast and courteous. If possible ask for room on the south side (hardly any traffic noise). Complimentary breakfast is very well done and the woman cooking eggs to order was a welcome surprise. She also does an exceptional job keeping the place clean. As for my taste drink the coffee downstairs.”
~ Via TripAdvisor ~“the employees are very nice, if you need anything for the room, they are more than happy to make sure your taken care of. The location is right off the freeway. Rooms are nice and big. Hoping they allow dogs soon :-)”
~ Via TripAdvisor ~“My co-workers and I had a meeting in the city and our company chose the Best Western instead of one of the fancier named places. We sure saw why! The rooms are HUGE and actually have 2 separate areas A Bedroom and a Living area with a couch, desk, Microwave and a fridge. Both rooms even had their own flat screen TV's. At night we played bridge in the breakfast area and then off to the Sauna and Jacuzzi. Geez... And the guys and gals that work there are the nicest... Kinda like being at a resort just on a smaller scale.... I hope we can stay here on our next business trip.”
~ Via TripAdvisor ~“What a great oasis the pool area was. From the oversized bright blue pool to the bubbling Spa we decided to spend hours just relaxing in this pool area and recharging from weeks of sitting in the car seeing this wonderful country of ours.”
~ Via TripAdvisor ~“What a pleasant surprise this Hotel turned out being. I was tired from driving and saw it from the Freeway. The 2 guys at the front desk acted like they knew us and gave us a great rate and a very nice room.”
~ Via TripAdvisor ~“What a Unique hotel and very representative of the Southwest region. From the initial outside appearance to the very large and definitely Southwest flavor of the lobby and breakfast area. We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this hotel and visiting the area. We had heard of the Albuquerque experience and were not disappointed. The girls at the front desk had several recommendations of where to visit and where to go for dinner.”
~ Via TripAdvisor ~“We came to Albuquerque to attend the 2012 International Balloon Fiesta. We picked this Hotel because of it's proximity to the Balloon Fiesta Park as it was only 5 minutes away. You could tell the staff at this hotel is used to a high volume of guests as they handled all of our needs very efficiently. The front desk girls gave us maps, directions and great recommendations for dinner, sightseeing and other things to occupy our time here. The manager Roger seemed to be everywhere from the breakfast area to giving us towels at the pool. We had a very enjoyable trip to Albuquerque and this Hotel made us feel right at home.”
~ Via TripAdvisor ~“The view of the city sunsets against the mountains is breath taking. The rooms are comfortable and very big due to the fact they are 2 room suites with a fridge and a pull out sofa in the first room. If you traveling with your family the indoor pool is great and open late, also the hot tub is great for a little R&R.”
~ Via TripAdvisor ~“We were in Albuquerque for the Balloon Fiesta and was very satisfied with this Hotel... Great staff... Great breakfast and Huge 2 room Suites...The indoor pool was a big plus and the weight room. If you make this spot a family trip bringing a camera is a must due to the fact of the Sandia Mountains and the beautiful sunset and sunrises this town has to offer.”
~ Via TripAdvisor ~“We stayed ten nights for the Balloon Fiesta. Very appreciative that they opened breakfast early for those of us that had to leave the hotel by 5AM. Breakfast was a nice selection of hot (not pre-cooked) eggs and sausage, bagels, pastries, waffles, yogurt, cereals, fruit, plus more. Rooms were clean and the housekeeping staff was pleasant and accommodating when asked for additional towels or special arrangements. Manager and Front Desk staff were also pleasant and easy to deal with. Special kudos to Maritza and Steven. I would definitely stay here for our next Balloon Fiesta visit.”
